This is an exciting year for Allegresse. 

We have had our first two releases hit the ground running.  The Zinfandel was bottled just before Christmas and was released in early March.  We produced 116 cases.  This was a fantastic first release to our wine club.  Many of our members have been waiting a long time for their wine and the Zin has certainly been a crowd pleaser! 

Our second release “Lovechild” is a red blend of our discretion.  This year it is 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Zinfandel.  We produced 97 cases and have exclusively released this to our wine club.  This wine has had staggering popularity.  Get it while you can we will soon be sold out of this wine.

Our vineyard has awakened and looks beautiful!  The vines are healthy and grass is high.  With all the rain this winter we have a lot of mowing to do.  The buds have begun to push and another vintage is in the making.

We have been approved to build a home on the property and are hoping to break ground this spring!

For those of you contemplating joining the wine club don’t think about it too long!  As we are a very small producer we will need to limit our enrollment.  Our next shipment will be in September.  We will release our 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon.  The way this wine is sampling right now out of the barrel blows me away.  It will definitely be the perfect marriage for that special steak dinner.
